I had *so* much fun at this session. When I think about what I want to be doing with my life long-term, this exact session comes to mind. I've always loved being outdoors, and the idea of farm life (though growing up in metro Detroit, not a lot of exposure to the reality of that life). Being able to go to this family's farm, to capture them in a place that means so much to them, seeing their little girls run around and look pretty but still play in the dirt, searching a new place for the best angle, the best light, playing in the dirt myself - all of that is where I feel the most me. And when I'm the most me, I'm able to do my best to show the best *you* through my lens.
I wasn't sure this session was going to happen that day - it was pouring rain off and on. Kayla called me saying, "It's clear here now, the sun is out!" So I sped to her house through the rain, hoping the sun would hold. And it did, for a bit, and then the clouds took over, but I didn't care at all because they added so much drama to the scenery.
Some of my favorites, from one of my favorite sessions <3
